Frequently asked questions
Are my customer addresses, tracking numbers, or label PDFs uploaded to any server?
No. 100% of PDF parsing, cropping, and generation happens locally in your browser memory via WebAssembly. Your shipping labels, customer addresses, and barcodes are never transmitted to any external server, and the tool continues to work offline once loaded.
What does automatic crop detect?
Full-page mode keeps the whole page by default. Click “Find content” to scan the selected crop and suggest a tighter boundary, then inspect the result. It suggests a box around non-white marks. It does not understand shipping labels; text, watermarks and scan backgrounds can affect the result.
Will resizing improve a blurry barcode?
No. Vector source content stays vector, but a low-resolution scan cannot gain detail. Inspect and test-scan the printed barcode.
Are 4 × 6 inches and 100 × 150 mm the same?
No. 4 × 6 inches is 101.6 × 152.4 mm. Select the size that matches your actual paper.
Does cropping remove private data permanently?
No. Cropping can hide content while retaining underlying PDF objects. Do not use it for secure redaction.
